What is UGC?

User-generated content or consumer-generated content is original, brand based-specific content created by customers and published on social media. UGC comes in many forms including: photos, videos, reviews, or testimonials.

Why is UGC important?

Today brands have to fight to be seen and grab the audience's attention online. UGC is an authentic form of content compared to brand ads. It's the modern word of mouth because people trust other people. UGC allows the consumer to feel like they're a participant in the brand and not just a spectator, deepening the connection between brand and consumer.

Experience

I've been a content creator for about 5 years. Through my journey I've learned how to take photos and videos and how to edit them to my liking. I've had the pleasure of working with various brands. I've created product shots and videos for these brands.

I create videos using my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my DSLR camera. Video lengths range from 15 seconds to over 2 minutes. Length depends on the concept that I'm going for, sometimes more time is needed to go into details about the product that I'm showcasing. I have studio lighting and also use natural lighting. I edit my videos myself.
